Many customers assume that if a restaurant has an “A” rating, it’s clean and safe to eat there. That’s not always the case. Someone who used to work at an ice cream chain store has some serious horror stories from their time behind the counter. Their store was constantly infested with roaches because of the constant ice cream droppings on the floor. 

The thing was, this store had a decent food safety rating. The only reason inspectors didn’t downgrade or shut the store down was because the roaches were always found on the “worker side” of the store.
