What Goes on Behind Bars: Zookeepers Share Wild Stories, and We Will Never Look at Zoos in the Same Way

It’s amazing how similar some animal behaviors are to humans. It’s like a twisted version of the old “switched at birth” stories you hear about sometimes. But in this case, it’s a monkey carrying around a raccoon as if it’s their own offspring, only to realize the dark truth too late.

Of course, It’s sad, but I’m kind of amazed to see how even animals can make these kinds of mistakes. It just goes to show that nature is full of surprises, and as zookeepers, these people have to be prepared for anything. Thank goodness they don’t seem to throw any poop or urine!
