Famous logos have changed over the years. It’s normal for big corporations to freshen up their look while still remaining recognizable. Most of us immediately recognize the Starbucks logo. However, this retro Starbucks cup looks completely unexpected. No, it’s not a knock-off. It’s the original Starbucks logo from 1971. 

This original logo looks much different from the stylized Starbucks cup today. This 1971 logo, designed by Terry Heckler, features the famous Starbucks Siren in all her glory. We see her whole body instead of just her face. Since this first logo, Starbucks has revamped its Siren in 1987, 1992, and 2011.
