#42: Pushing Past the Ghost Bread
I’ve always loved the phrase “The only way out is through,” and I just cracked up when I saw it illustrated in this comic with scary bread. I love the concept that bread’s version of a zombie is a moldy piece of bread, and that anything, even bread, can be turned into a ghost by throwing a sheet over it.
Often, when we’re faced with difficult circumstances, our instinct is to freeze, paralyzed by fear or indecision or the hope that we can avoid being hurt or made uncomfortable if we stop moving. But that is rarely the case; often, when faced with difficult situations, all we can do is push through them until we get to the other side.
