#37: Posting Practices
Just like the presence of mommy vloggers, parents posting pictures of their kids on social media has become pretty normal. We get it. Parents love their kids. They want to share what they’re up to with family and friends. Sharing on social media is the easiest way to stay in touch. However, some people definitely overshare.
Influencers and average parents probably don’t think about all the strangers who could possibly see their public social media posts. Posting photos of kids online is tricky because they can’t consent to something they themselves don’t use or fully understand. Plenty of parents have become more private in recent years. That might become more of the norm in the future.
