#30: General Health Standards
Healthcare professionals have been freaking out over obesity in the United States for a while. While it’s important to be body-positive, it’s also important to try our best to be healthy and active for our overall health. Obesity started becoming more common in the 1980s and early 2000s. Some people feel like it’s become the norm now.
This may or may not go without saying, but there are a lot of health risks associated with obesity. Maybe the average weight of the general population will change over time with more widespread access to fresh food and better health education classes in school. Only time will tell what the overall trend will be.
