Quiz time: can you name the owners of all of the couches shown in this picture? If so, you are a true child of the 80s and 90s. Okay, full disclosure: I didn’t get the two at the top. So I guess I am only 2/3 a child of the 80s and 90s.

TV was different back then; it seemed like all of the shows were sitcoms about families. So of course the living room of the family’s home was the centerpiece of all of these shows. These fictional living rooms became as familiar to us as the living rooms in our own homes. Good times.
