These Posts and Memes Transport Us Back to the 80s

I don’t smoke, and I never really knew anyone who smoked. I didn’t get what the cigarette lighter in the car was for until I was probably in junior high. So I’ve never thought really hard about what a person might do to light a cigarette when they don’t have a lighter at hand.

And now that I’ve seen this photo, I am absolutely horrified. This seems like a disaster waiting to happen; there are so many ways that this could go wrong. What if you have long hair and it hits the hot burner and catches fire or something? This photo is going straight on my list of reasons I’m glad I don’t smoke.
