These Posts and Memes Transport Us Back to the 80s

Whatever happened to the Coca-Cola bears? Those of you who are younger might not remember this; you might be only familiar with the Coca-Cola advertising campaign that tries to show it as the drink favored by hip multiethnic young adults in urban settings.

But when I was a kid, they had gone a very different direction with their advertising: cuddly, cartoony polar bears, penguins, and other arctic critters who seemed to spend their entire lives either giving or receiving bottles of Coca-Cola from each other. It was so cute. I miss those frosty little guys.
