If you’re a foodie, then there’s never been a better time to live than the present. We now have access to so many interesting restaurants and foods, partly because tastes are changing and partly because it seems like people move a lot more so you’re more likely to get an Armenian family in your town to open an Armenian restaurant.

Back in the day, there were only four kinds of restaurants—American, Mexican, Italian, and Chinese—and we had no fancy bakeries or desserts. If you wanted a fancy way to celebrate a special occasion, you were getting an ice cream cake from Dairy Queen or one of these bad boys from the freezer section.
