These Posts and Memes Transport Us Back to the 80s

Sometimes it feels like the 90s were the last real heyday of the sitcom. Oh, they still make sitcoms, but it doesn’t feel like any that have aired in the last five or ten years have been nearly as popular or as widely watched as shows that came out pre-2000.

And few shows were as widely watched as Home Improvement, which starred Tim Allen mostly making weird grunting noises. That’s why nearly everyone of a certain age or older would immediately recognize this costume as beloved next-door neighbor Wilson. I’m going to have to use this costume next Halloween as a way to figure out who’s old like me.
