Ho, Ho, Ho: The Wholesome, Inappropriate and Wild Requests Mall Santas Have Heard from Kids

Some kids have what it takes to make it in the business world. The kid in this story is probably a millionaire by now, if his early Christmas wishes were any indication. One year, our storyteller’s uncle worked as a mall Santa. He encountered one little kid who really wanted a coffee maker for Christmas. Why? Well, his lemonade stand business wasn’t doing too hot.

He told Santa (aka our storyteller’s uncle) that he noticed a ton of adults always drinking coffee. So, he figured that a coffee maker would help him open his own neighborhood coffee stand. Smart kid. We hope his business venture was successful. Starbucks needs more competition from small businesses, anyway.
