Ho, Ho, Ho: The Wholesome, Inappropriate and Wild Requests Mall Santas Have Heard from Kids

This storyteller used to know a mall Santa, and that Santa learned a lot about kids over the years. He said that every year, more than a few kids ask Santa for their parents to get back together. Dang. We’re not crying, you are. Sadly, repairing relationships is above Santa’s paygrade.

We’re not sure what this person’s uncle would say in response whenever a kid made this request. Poor kids. If it happens so often, there should be a part of the “Mall Santa Handbook” that goes over how to handle this. What do you say to a kid who wants their parents to get back together? It’s probably not going to happen.
