Ho, Ho, Ho: The Wholesome, Inappropriate and Wild Requests Mall Santas Have Heard from Kids

This storyteller was an impromptu mall Santa one day when his friend called out sick and had him cover his shift. That’s to say, he was not prepared for the unhinged requests from children. One Christmas wish really stuck out to him because it was so off-the-wall and slightly creepy. Apparently, one kid asked for a “bushel of dead squirrels.”

Uh… okay. According to our storyteller, this kid was only about six years old. What’s a six-year-old doing asking for a bunch of dead squirrels? How does he know what a “bushel” is? We have so many questions. Here’s hoping that Santa didn’t follow through on this request. It sounds like something out of a horror movie or a Netflix true-crime documentary.
