Ho, Ho, Ho: The Wholesome, Inappropriate and Wild Requests Mall Santas Have Heard from Kids

Little kids are often drawn to wild animals when learning about nature. It’s pretty common for a young child to list a wild animal as their “favorite” for years and years. This parent’s three-year-old son was a huge fan of rhinos. Naturally, he asked Santa to hook it up one year for Christmas.

He requested a baby rhino for Christmas. Santa tried to be tactful and told our storyteller’s son that the baby rhino’s mom would be “very sad to lose her baby.” This little kid wouldn’t take “no” for an answer, no matter how nicely Santa said it. He simply said, “Okay, well I’ll take the mama too. Maybe she can sleep in my mom’s bed.” See? Problem solved.
