Bread lovers across the globe will love and appreciate this story. A former mall Santa recounted the weirdest thing any kid has ever asked him for during his long and storied career. Apparently, some kid simply asked for a piece of toast. That was it. No toys, no clothes. Not even candy. Just a piece of toast.

This kid must have been hungry when he visited with Santa. It’s hilarious that the item of food he thought of off the top of his head was a simple piece of toast. Don’t get us wrong. Toast is delicious. It’s just a strange, off-the-wall thing for a little kid to ask Santa for. Hopefully, he also requested butter on top of his slice of toast.
