Packaging is a huge part of marketing these days. Companies are always trying to find innovative ways to attract new customers with creative, eye-catching graphic designs and packaging. This fish company decided to try something new that you rarely see (literally) in the canned goods market. They package their tinned fish with clear lids so you can see the food inside.
Depending on how you feel about tinned fish, this is either really cool or really gross. It’s definitely creative, that’s for sure. Tinned fish has always been a mystery. We buy opaque tins with the promise that delicious, salty sardines will be inside. But how can we really know that? Now, shoppers can see what the fish looks like before they buy it.
