#36: Bats Are Not Blind
While it’s true that some bats use echolocation to navigate and hunt, most bats can actually see just fine. In fact, some species of bats have better eyesight than humans! I think this myth may have started because people often see bats flying around at night, which can make it seem like they’re relying solely on echolocation.
But the truth is, bats are impressive creatures with various survival skills. And while they might look a little spooky, they’re actually pretty cool once you get to know them. So, next time you see a bat, don’t be afraid – they’re not blind and out to get you!
