Greenwashing is a common practice among corporations these days. Greenwashing is when a company pretends to have eco-friendly products when, in reality, they haven’t changed anything about their company practices or processes. It’s basically just a way to spin their advertising and try to appeal to eco-minded shoppers. It looks like this company is guilty of greenwashing.  

The haircare company packaged a bunch of their plastic bottles in paper to “celebrate Mother Earth.” There’s nothing about this product packaging that is “green.” The bottles are still made of plastic. They just added another layer on top to make it look modern and eco-friendly. Critical thinking skills are essential when shopping these days.
