#5: Cup-O-Gold
Introduced in 1950, Cup-O-Gold was the ultimate treat for those seeking something sweet. Hershey’s missed a trick by not coming up with this first. The treat, crafted by Adams & Brooks, boasts a similar taste to Mallowmars, delightfully mixing chocolate and marshmallows. However, it skips the cookie crunch. Though slightly overshadowed by Mallowmars once, Cup-O-Gold, resembling Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups but filled with marshmallows, still enjoys a loyal fanbase today.
Eight decades have done little but increase the price of Cup-O-Gold from its original tag, now selling for $1.25 on the West Coast. Despite the price hike, its taste remains unchanged, winning hearts as it did years ago. It’s proof that good things last, retaining the classic flavor that has made it a cherished treat over the years.
