Conceived as the ultimate pleasure palace by strip club magnate Billy Hull, this 1970s architectural marvel boasted three sumptuous bedrooms, two and a half deluxe bathrooms, a Playboy bunny-shaped swimming pool, and a sprawling jacuzzi/sauna designed to accommodate a dozen revelers. The mansion was a testament to opulence, with mirrors adorning its walls and a state-of-the-art intercom and TV monitor system installed in nearly every corner.
However, the palace’s hedonistic glow dimmed when its owner’s dark secrets came to light. In a scandal that shocked the community, Hull’s dream home became an afterthought when he was implicated in a grisly crime. The 1973 shooting of his wife’s lover unveiled a sinister plot; Hull had orchestrated the hit.
Convicted for that murder and two others, Hull’s fate was sealed with a 20-year prison sentence.
