This next one, I believe, is meant to be a bit doom and gloom: prepare for things to go wrong, because if it can happen to someone else, it can happen to you. And that’s good advice; it’s good to have emergency equipment and food storage, plus an emergency fund at the bank, for when things go south.

But I also choose to find something hopeful in it. Because that means that if good things happen to other people, they can happen to you too!
