#19: Hidden Health Problems
This next one is so unfortunate and so true. It’s difficult enough to struggle through health problems—with all the pain and worry and costs—when it’s clear to everyone who looks at you that those ailments are real. How much worse would it be if people thought you were faking it?
But that’s a problem that many people face: not every health problem is obvious to the naked eye, so people who suffer might have further difficulty convincing people that their problems are real. Here’s a useful tip: if you are inclined to believe that someone’s health problem is fake just because you can’t see it after a casual observation, don’t.
