40 Questionable Design Choices That Would Be Way, Way Too Hard to Clean

A staircase is something you need to clean quiet often because, well, people step on it with the dirty soles of their shoes all day, every day. So, more than it has to be aesthetic, a staircase needs to be practical and serve its purpose of getting people up and down the stairs.

But not this staircase. For some reason, the people who designed this place chose the worst possible material to cover the staircase. We can’t imagine this gets cleaned on a regular basis, and even if it does, we’re not sure it can be cleaned thoroughly enough.
