#27: Not a Good Choice for a Restaurant
If you’ve ever been to a restaurant during the dinner rush on a Saturday, and especially if you’ve worked in food service, you know there’s a very good reason those tables are lacquered to a shine. Servers generally don’t have time to sit down and deeply scrub each table before their next party arrives; a quick spritz with cleaning solution simply isn’t going to cut it for this table.
We can already feel the servers groaning at the idea of spilled drinks, missed ketchup dabs, and crumbs seeping their way into the table in a way that’s never going to come out and is definitely going to be gross for the next guest. We hope they’re giving extra tips for taking the extra time to sanitize.
