40 Questionable Design Choices That Would Be Way, Way Too Hard to Clean

We’re accepting defeat. Rock aesthetics is a thing. People like to decorate their houses—bathrooms in particular—with rock themes. Here’s yet another rock-in-the-shower setup. This one seems a little better; it’s mostly smooth tile with an “accent” rock that seems to have built-in shelving, so they have that covered.

Still, cleaning this shower would take some solid scrubbing, and we don’t envy the person who has to get on their hands and knees to do that. Also, what’s up with the raised shower floor and flat drop to the main level? Wouldn’t that design just mean that the whole floor of the bathroom gets soaked every time you take a shower?
